Repair service Don't panic if you've smashed some marble - these guys are amazing! - Not the fastest response time to email but generally v friendly customer service once you get talking - pleasant and helpful - Sent in a v v badly damaged, heavy travertine Marble table that was trod on in transit - Was convinced the damage would be game over for the table - AMAZING repair by Marble City, we really struggle to see the lines of the cracks. A clean, single colour piece of marble, may not have worked so well but this is perfect - Reinforcement service (via metal rods and fibre glassing) was offered without asking and really well done making me feel better about any structural integrity (was at an additional cost) - Update, I've tried to upload pics to here but they aren't going, the pre/post pictures are amazing, suggest to ask the company to see. Matthew and his team sorted out the fitting of a vanity top in our bathroom. By a series of mishaps and miscommunications our original contractors who shall remain nameless had managed to bust two marble tops and miscut a 3rd so it did not quite fit. I got exasperated and went to !Marble City who are very local to me. Job sorted very promptly and efficiently over the Christmas period. Wish I’d to them first. Had no problems with speaking to Tom minutes ago in regards to quote and email whom seemed very polite and respectful. On the other hand the idiot that decided to pick up the call second time round has just lost me as a customer due to his stink attitude and terrible customer service. I suggest if you are having a bad day do not bring your personal problems in to work.

Marble City provide a professional service at a good price. Our granite tops are of the highest quality and the finishing is superb. As part of our self-build project, we planned a large kitchen including a 2.1 metre island. Having looked at quite a few granite suppliers, we’re really pleased we chose Marble City to template, make and fit our granite tops. The whole process was smooth, efficient and surprisingly stress-free. We had an extremely professional, friendly team of fitters and the communication throughout was excellent.

Marble City and more specifically it's manager Gavin Waldron have been a rock for me in a sea of other trades appearing and disappearing in my recent development. Having bought a porcelain slab tile which turned out to be so delicate virtually nothing could cut it, Gavin did not give up, using their water jet to cut it tiny bit by tiny bit. His fitters took amazing care. Larry, who fitted the tile, must have come to my flat no less than 6 times with a colleague and they laid the porcelain very delicately with utmost care. Gavin warned me not to have a normal tiler fit cut and template the 2400 x 1200 slabs and he was SO right. Whilst not cheap, my suggestion would be to use Marble City for these types of large format slabs. They were concerned, detailed, and took their time. Always turning up when they said they were going to. I could not have asked for more prompt replies from Gavin, who tolerated all my concerns and questions. Larry the fitter was always prompt arriving on time> I could not have asked , for more care taken. They allowed me to use cheaper porcelain from another shop but it made their job a lot harder. The combination of Gavin overseeing everything with such experience and Larry actually carrying out the job was perfect. Both men answered all my questions along the way. I would highly recommend both of them. The marble that they provided for other areas of the bathroom was great. Alexa
